1924-yearThe history of this international airport dates back to the early 20th century. In 1924, an aeroplane was launched from this airport for the first time. Then passengers were transported to their destination on the route «Tashkent - Bishkek - Alma-Ata». Later that year, the plane carried about 1,000 passengers, 200 kilograms of mail and another five tonnes of cargo.
